How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan
Changing Your Plan Is Simple
Whether you want to upgrade to access the Trading Challenge or downgrade to reduce your monthly cost, you can change your plan at any time directly from your account settings. Your progress is always preserved regardless of plan changes.
How to Upgrade
- Log in to your account and navigate to Settings > Subscription
- Click "Change Plan"
- Select the plan you would like to upgrade to (Pro), or apply for the Live Trading Desk
- Confirm your selection and complete the payment
When upgrading mid-billing cycle, your payment is prorated. This means you only pay the difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of your billing period. For example, if you are halfway through a month on the Starter plan ($49) and upgrade to Pro ($79), you will pay approximately $15 for the remaining half-month, and then $79 at the start of your next billing cycle.
How to Downgrade
- Navigate to Settings > Subscription
- Click "Change Plan"
- Select the lower-tier plan
- Confirm your selection
When downgrading, you will retain access to your current plan's features until the end of your current billing period. The lower-tier pricing takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the current period.
Important Notes About Downgrading
- Paper Trading access: If you downgrade from Pro to Starter, you will lose access to the Paper Trading Simulator at the end of your billing period. Your paper trading history is saved and will be available again if you upgrade back.
- Trading Challenge: If you are in the middle of a Trading Challenge attempt when you downgrade, the attempt will be paused. You can resume it if you upgrade again.
- Progress preservation: All lesson completions, quiz scores, and achievements are permanently saved regardless of your plan.
Live Trading Desk Members: If you are on the Live Trading Desk, plan changes work differently since you have a funded account. If you have any billing concerns, contact our support team.
