How it works

How The Stocks Room Works

The Stocks Room is stock trading education that pays you back. You complete a structured program, prove your skills by passing the Trading Challenge, and earn a cash graduation payout of up to $500. Approved traders can also apply for the Live Trading Desk to trade company capital on a 90/10 profit split. This page lays out exactly how each part works.

How does the program work?

The program is a self-paced curriculum of six modules — market foundations, chart reading and technical analysis, trading strategies, risk management and psychology, options basics, and paper-trading challenge prep. You complete video lessons and quizzes, track progress on your dashboard, and practice in the paper-trading simulator before attempting the challenge.

How does the $500 payout work?

The payout is a graduation reward for completing the program and passing the Trading Challenge. On the Pro plan ($79/mo) the payout is $500; on the Starter plan ($49/mo) it is $50. It is paid by direct deposit, PayPal, or wire transfer. Subscription plans include one challenge attempt per month, which resets on rebill. Full detail is in the payout guide.

How does the Live Trading Desk work?

The Live Trading Desk is an application-only program for traders with a track record of profitability. If accepted (a $750 desk setup fee applies), you trade a $3,000 company-funded account, keep 90% of the profit on a 90/10 split, and receive daily payouts. It is the path to trading real capital after you’ve proven your skills.

Who is eligible, and what are the rules?

Anyone can subscribe to Starter or Pro and attempt the Trading Challenge; no prior experience is required. The Live Trading Desk is selective and based on a demonstrated track record. The Stocks Room is an educational platform, not a broker or financial advisor, and the $500 payout is contingent on completing the program and passing the challenge under its rules. Trading involves risk and past performance does not guarantee future results.
