Curriculum Overview & Module Breakdown
6 Modules, One Clear Path
The Stocks Room curriculum is organized into 6 progressive modules that take you from foundational knowledge to advanced trading strategies. Each module builds on the previous one, ensuring you develop a well-rounded skill set before attempting the Trading Challenge.
Module 1: Market Foundations
Understand how the stock market works from the ground up. You will learn about exchanges, brokers, order types, and the fundamental mechanics of buying and selling stocks. This module sets the foundation for everything that follows.
Module 2: Reading Charts & Technical Analysis
Master the art of reading stock charts. This module covers candlestick patterns, support and resistance levels, trend lines, volume analysis, and the most widely used technical indicators (moving averages, RSI, MACD). You will learn to read price action like a professional trader.
Module 3: Risk Management & Position Sizing
This is arguably the most important module in the entire program. You will learn how to protect your capital through proper risk management, including setting stop losses, calculating position sizes, understanding risk-to-reward ratios, and managing drawdowns. This module is critical for passing the Trading Challenge.
Module 4: Trading Strategies
Learn proven trading strategies that work across different market conditions. This module covers momentum trading, breakout strategies, mean reversion, and swing trading setups. Each strategy is taught with real chart examples and clear entry/exit rules.
Module 5: Trading Psychology & Discipline
The mental game is what separates successful traders from the rest. This module addresses common psychological pitfalls -fear, greed, revenge trading, and overconfidence -and provides practical frameworks for maintaining discipline under pressure.
Module 6: Putting It All Together
The final module combines everything you have learned into a complete trading plan. You will create your own trading playbook, define your personal rules, and prepare for the Trading Challenge with mock scenarios and practice drills.
